COMMON QUESTIONS

Clear answers before you start.

Subscriptions, devices, trials, payments, and encrypted cloud access—without the fine-print maze.

Do I need two subscriptions for two devices?

No. A Solo subscription includes one licensed user on two devices. Team and Enterprise include larger installed-app user and device allowances. Hosted web sign-in currently belongs to the verified purchaser email; team web-member invitations are not yet available.

What are the monthly prices?

Solo is CAD $20.99 per month, Team is CAD $79.99 per month, and Enterprise is CAD $299.00 per month.

Which payment methods can I use?

Stripe dynamically offers eligible credit and debit cards, Google Pay, Link, Canadian pre-authorized debit, and supported regional methods. Apple Pay is intentionally disabled. Google Play purchases use Google Play Billing.

Does Rivet have a free trial?

Yes. The Windows and directly downloaded Android app include a 14-day local trial. The hosted web estimator requires an active paid subscription.

Can I use the same account on Windows, Android, and web?

Yes, within your plan's device allowance. Use the same verified email so Rivet can associate your subscription and cloud workspace correctly.

Is Rivet Cloud required?

No. Rivet is local-first. Cloud sync is optional, but it is included with paid plans and is the easiest way to carry the same encrypted workspace between permitted devices.

Can Rivet read my cloud estimates?

Cloud workspaces are encrypted on your device before upload. Keep your recovery material safe because Rivet's service is designed not to receive the key that opens your project data.

How do I cancel or update payment details?

Open the saved order on the Purchase page and choose Manage subscription and payment method. Stripe's secure customer portal handles payment updates, invoices, and cancellation.
